5″ professional studio monitor with HEDD Lineariser phase corrector
The Type 05 MK2 is still as much of a multi tasker as the original, with some strong technological upgrades. The MK2 Features a 7” woofer and an AMT tweeter, with the addition of the switchable HEDD Lineariser. This set of FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filters maintains phase linearity and minimise errors that would have been caused by traditional crossover technolgies used between the high and low frequency drivers.
With the MK2 the user will get a choice between ported/bass reflex and closed/infinite baffle enclosure design. With the included port plugs, the user can plug the ports and switch the filter set to “Closed” to create a higher fidelity sound with a more accurate recreation of the sound, or chose to keep the enclosure ported for lower bass extension and sound colouration.
