The loudspeaker is a passive two-way system consisting of one high power 12” (250 mm), direct radiating, reflex loaded, low frequency (LF) transducer and 1.5” (38.1 mm) diameter (HF) compression driver mounted on a user rotatable constant directivity horn mounted in a trapezoidal enclosure.
The low frequency transducer is constructed on a cast aluminium frame, with a treated paper cone, 50.8 mm (2”) voice coil, wound with copper wires on a high quality voice coil former, for high power handling and long-term reliability. The high frequency transducer projects its sound through a high precision constant directivity rotatable waveguide with a 150 mm (6”) baffle diameter to achieve pattern control and low distortion.
The Stasys range meets the most stringent requirements for shows, events, and performances of every imaginable genre. Featuring advanced pattern control, ultra-low distortion, and superb acoustic coupling among adjacent units, Stasys loudspeakers are especially effective in large, reverberant spaces because they effortlessly direct the sound where it’s needed. Perfectly suited for use in houses of worship, concert halls, theatres, clubs, outdoor performance venues, and sports facilities, they can either be permanently installed or used for touring and other temporary events, such as large AV presentations.
